In a collection which is essentially our first real attempt at womenswear, it was beyond important to do a piece of 'occasion wear'. Due to the nature of the rest of our work, apart from it being pretty it mattered to us that it was user friendly. We started from a simple idea of a gown that could be worn on a red carpet or wedding, that could then be adjusted and allow you to sit down and eat your meal in comfort. 

We achieved this by breaking down the components of the silhouette we had in mind and separating them into stand alone items that can be worn in any combination or even omitted and worn individually.
